Blacklist Calls - Custom Block — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 September 2026
Blacklist Calls helps you block unwanted calls using local rules on your Android device. Blocking rules and call history stay on your phone. We do not sell personal data.
What stays on your device
The app has no account system and no developer-operated backend.
- Blocking rules you create are stored in an on-device database.
- Blocked-call history may include phone numbers, timestamps, and the local rule that caused a block. That history stays on your device.
- Theme and notification preferences are stored locally.
- No email, login, or cloud sync is required.
- This release does not use a separate developer analytics SDK.
Deleting a rule or history entry removes it from your device. Uninstalling the app removes app-local data. Android backup is disabled for this app.
Call screening and contacts
When you choose Blacklist Calls as your call-screening app, Android sends incoming-call details to the app so your rules can be applied. The app does not request SMS access, location, or the system call log.
Contacts access is used so rules can match saved numbers, support contacts-only blocking, and warn when a new rule may match someone in your address book. Contact lookup happens only on your device. Contacts are not uploaded.
Advertising
The app uses Google AdMob. AdMob may process device identifiers, ad interactions, and diagnostics according to your consent choices and Google’s Privacy Policy. Where required, Google’s User Messaging Platform asks for consent before personalized ads. You can review ad privacy choices from Settings when that option is available.
Blocking rules and blocked-call history are not provided to the advertising SDK. Ads appear only inside the app, not on call-screening or post-call system surfaces.
Network
Call blocking does not use a cloud spam database. Internet access may be used for advertising and consent management when ads are enabled.
Permissions
