Future Alarm — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 September 2026
Future Alarm sets alarms for a date and time you choose. Alarm schedules stay on your phone. The app has no account and no developer-operated backend. We do not sell personal data.
What stays on your device
- Alarms you create, including label, date, time, repeat schedule, and enabled state.
- A custom sound you pick through the system file picker, as a local permission to that file.
- App settings needed to ring, vibrate, and show the alarm screen.
Voice commands
Microphone access is used only when you tap the microphone to speak an alarm command. On phones that support it, speech is recognized on the device. Otherwise Android’s speech recognizer may send audio to the recognition service configured on the phone. That service is controlled by your device settings, not by a Sushila Creatives server.
If a spoken command is not handled on the device, the recognized text — not the audio — is sent to Google Gemini through Firebase AI so the app can turn it into an alarm action. The prompt includes the current time and time zone needed to interpret relative phrases such as “tomorrow at 7 AM.” If that request fails, the app tries a local parser instead. You can create and edit alarms without using voice.
Permissions
- Exact alarm, notifications, full-screen intent, wake lock, and vibration — ring an alarm at the time you set, including after restart.
- Boot completed — restore scheduled alarms after the device restarts.
- Foreground service — keep an alarm ringing until you dismiss it.
- Microphone — only while you use a voice command.
- Internet — speech recognition when the phone cannot do it on device, and Gemini interpretation of the recognized text.
