Image Resizer & Compressor resizes and compresses photos on your Android device. Processing stays on your phone. We do not upload or sell your images.
What stays on your device
The app has no developer-operated backend and no account.
- Photos you choose are decoded, resized, compressed, and saved on your device.
- A short list of recent exports (file name, size, and local path) may be stored on your device so you can reopen or share them.
- When JPEG metadata preservation is on, common date and camera fields may be kept in the exported file. GPS and location metadata are not copied. You can turn metadata preservation off.
Advertising
The app uses Google Mobile Ads and Google’s User Messaging Platform. It can show a banner and an interstitial after each fifth successful resize. Where required, the app asks for consent before requesting an ad and offers a Privacy choices control.
Google Mobile Ads may process IP address, app interactions, diagnostics, and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. See Google’s Mobile Ads data disclosure and partner data policy. Your photos are not sent to the ad network.
Network
Image processing runs on your device and works offline. Internet access is used for consent messages and advertising.
Permissions
- Photos — only an image you pick through the system photo picker or file browser.
- Camera — only when you capture a new photo through the system camera.
- Storage — only when you save or export a processed image.
Children
Image Resizer & Compressor does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
