Waro: Warranty & Service Track — Privacy Policy

Waro tracks product warranties, service dates, and supporting documents on your Android device. Records stay on your phone. We do not sell personal data.
What stays on your device
Waro has no account and no developer-operated backend.
- Product details you enter (name, brand, model, category, purchase date, and warranty dates) are stored in an on-device database.
- Service history (dates, notes, costs, provider, and related details) is stored locally.
- Photos and documents you attach are copied into private app storage.
- Display name and currency preference may be stored locally.
- Reminder schedules are stored locally and delivered through Android notifications.
This release does not use a separate developer analytics SDK. Deleting a product removes its warranty, service records, and saved attachments. Uninstalling the app removes its local data. Android backup is disabled.
Advertising
When advertising is enabled, the app uses Google AdMob for banner and interstitial ads. Native ads are not used. AdMob may process device identifiers, approximate location, ad interactions, and diagnostics according to your consent choices and Google’s Privacy Policy. Where required, Google’s User Messaging Platform asks for consent before personalized ads.
Warranty records, service records, and saved documents are not sent to AdMob.
Network
Warranty and service tracking does not require the internet. Internet access is used for advertising and consent management when ads are enabled.
Permissions
- Notifications — warranty or service reminders you enable.
- Photos — only images you pick through the system photo picker.
- Camera — only when you capture a photo for a product or document.
- Internet and network state — ads and consent when advertising is enabled.
- Boot completed — reschedule local reminders after restart.
Children
Waro does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
This page will be updated before cloud backup, accounts, or other online features ship.
